Tralee RFC, Mercy Mounthawk & Donal’s own school of CBS The Green (Tralee) have undertaken to join Donal’s Dad, Fionnbar, with the support of the IRFU & Munster Rugby in walking from the Aviva Stadium to Thomond Park (or reverse depending on games) over the next number of years.
The 2014 Event is from The Aviva from the Ireland V Scotland Six Nations game to Thomond Park for the Munster V Cardiff Rabo Pro12 game and will involve visiting clubs or schools from Wanderers, Naas, Kildare, Portlaoise, Roscrea, Nenagh and Old Crescent, Limerick on the way to promote the Donal Walsh #Livelife message. The walking crew will cover 20 miles per day and play a sporting game at their host venue as well as having Donal’s dad and teachers, friends and celebrities talk about the #Livelife theme.
They are not doing this for fun but to continue Donal’s anti-suicide conversation among his peers and to raise funds for his #Livelife Foundation, the CMRF Crumlin Children’s Hospital and Tralee RFC Charities. we would love the support of everyone in this venture and you can either Walk With Us, Collect for Us, Host Us or Support Us on our journey!
